We always want you to be happy with your order. If you wish to return a product, you must do so by visiting your order details page and submitting a return request. We will then authorise this request if it is within reason of our return policy, and you may send the product back for either a replacement, store credit or a refund. Description
The MQ-9 Reaper is a remotely controlled, unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). It is flown by a crew of two from a ground station. With its single 900 hp turboprop engine, the MQ-9 can reach a maximum speed of 480 km/h (300 mph), while the 1,800 kg (4,000 lb) of fuel give it a range of 1,900 km (1,200 mi). Since February 2022, the 306th Squadron has been flying the four MQ-9s currently operated by to the Dutch Air Force from Leeuwarden. Four more Reapers are on order. Three drones were deployed to Romania in 2024 to protect NATO's eastern border. The unarmed MQ-9s will strengthen border surveillance there and support reconnaissance operations above Romania and the Black Sea. Whereas the detachment consists of 130 servicemen and -women, the pilots themselves remain at Leeuwarden. This 1/72 scale die-cast metal model can be displayed on its landing gear or in-flight with retracted landing gear. Two sets of landing gear and a display stand are included.
