AviationTag Tarom Airbus A318 - YR-ASA White

AviationTag Tarom Airbus A318 - YR-ASA White

Authentic. Limited. The Aviationtag 10th Anniversary Edition.

The first Airbus A318 ever to join the Aviationtag range, released to mark ten years of Aviationtag. Every tag in this edition carries a special anniversary engraving on the back, and each one ships with the exclusive 10-year booklet looking back at how Aviationtag began.

YR-ASA was delivered in November 2006 as Tarom's first A318 and was named "Aurel Vlaicu" after the Romanian aviation pioneer. She stayed with the airline for around eighteen years, flying from Bucharest across Europe.

As Tarom's last active A318 she operated her final passenger flight from Iași to Bucharest on 21 November 2024, closing the same A318 chapter she had opened. She was then flown to Castellón in Spain and dismantled.

Part of her outer skin now becomes this anniversary edition, hand finished in Germany and individually engraved with its own edition number. Only 3,750 pieces exist. Traces of use, small scratches and variations in colour and surface are part of the original aircraft material, so the tag you receive may look slightly different from the photograph shown.
