The story of the B-6279 began in the spring of 2006, when the Airbus A320-232 made its maiden flight on April 24, and was delivered to China Southern Airlines just a few weeks later. For almost 18 years, the aircraft remained part of the fleet and daily flight operations.

Her active time ended in 2024. The B-6279 was transferred to Kuala Lumpur and finally used there. For us, however, this was not the end of their story: We were able to secure parts of the original aircraft skin and use them to produce a new Aviationtag Edition.

Each Aviationtag comes directly from the material of this Airbus A320. The original paintwork, subtle differences in the surface and the traces of many years of use make each piece unmistakable. No day looks exactly like the other – and that's exactly where its special character lies.

The B-6279 was an Airbus A320-232 with the manufacturer's serial number 2772 and was powered by two IAE V2527-A5 engines. After almost two decades with China Southern Airlines, part of this aircraft is now traveling on in a completely new form.

With the engraved registration B-6279, the aircraft type and an individual serial number, each Aviationtag becomes a uniquely assignable piece of aviation history.
