Now it seems to be coming: the end is inexorably approaching for the four-engine aircraft at Lufthansa. Germany's largest airline was one of the largest operators of the Airbus A340-600, with up to 17 in operation at a time. During the Covid-19 Pandemic, the end seemed to be sealed.
