A6-APA was more than just an aircraft: it opened Etihad's superjumbo chapter in December 2014 and marked the 150th delivery of the type worldwide. Previously, this same jet was in the spotlight in Hamburg when Etihad unveiled its new "Facets of Abu Dhabi" livery – a confident design that redefined the brand and wrote the promise of luxurious hospitality on the outer skin. A few days later, A6-APA took off for its first scheduled service on Abu Dhabi–London, setting a tone that was followed by many.

Inside, Etihad showed how wide travel can be rethought: a three-room suite, spacious apartments and an on-board feel that made the A380 an ambassador for the brand. For Etihad, the A6-APA was the lever to combine design, service and product on one stage – from the premiere route to Heathrow to other long-haul routes. He began an era whose pictures still stand for Etihad today.

At the end of its mission, A6-APA was professionally processed in Tarbes. Selected sheets of the upper fuselage sections and the area under the tail are now used to create the Aviationtag × Etihad Edition. In Cologne, we cut and refine each piece, preserve conscious traces of time and provide it with its own serial number. In this way, authentic aircraft material becomes a compact memento with verifiable origin – strictly limited as long as material is available.
