The Boeing 747 is an aviation icon – and N746CK is a true freighter from the start. This Boeing 747-246F(SCD) (MSN 22989) made its maiden flight on October 7, 1982 and was delivered in December 1982. During her time at Japan Airlines, she was part of the JAL "Super Logistics" cargo fleet and at times wore the Super Logistics livery – a striking look from the great era of intercontinental freight.

As a factory 747-200F, it was consistently developed for freight. The famous bow cargo door made it possible to load oversized goods directly; the "SCD" configuration complements the whole with side cargo door options. It is precisely this DNA that has made the jumbo jet freighters legends in global logistics.

In November 2008, the aircraft switched to Kalitta Air and continued to fly as N746CK. The Boeing 747 had been in storage in Oscoda (Michigan) since August 2015 – and it is precisely these traces of a long working life that can be found in the original aircraft skin from which this edition is made. After about ten years of standing in changeable weather, it is normal that the paint has visibly suffered; small chipping on edges or especially in dark and black lacquer areas are part of the authentic patina.
