What are the models made from?

Materials vary by scale and manufacturer. In general, 1/400 and 1/500 scale models are metal. In 1/200 scale, GeminiJets, JC Wings, Phoenix, NG Models, and HobbyMaster are usually metal, while Hogan, Herpa, Skymarks, Herpa Snap-fit, and LED Wings are usually plastic unless stated otherwise.
