DDP means Delivered Duty Paid. For customers, this means applicable import duties or taxes are handled before delivery, so the courier should not normally ask you to pay import charges when the parcel arrives.
Duties and taxes may be included in the total at checkout for international orders, depending on the destination country. Where they are collected at checkout, you should not normally need to pay them again on delivery.
